name_what??? (amd5pc) presenting the hardcore work....

First thing first, among other groups in our class, fortunately we got the long-version question..and we felt so lucky to be the one who answered it..huhuhu(",)

We got question from chapter 9: Organizational Culture. The question was:

"A growing number of Malaysian works for foreign owned firms in Malaysia. Do you think that these employees are being influenced by the approach to the management and culture of the country that owns the firm? Why and how?

According to the question, we understand that there are a lot of Malaysians works in the foreign firms in Malaysia. The factor that influenced Malaysians to work in that firms is because they were influenced by the approach and culture of the country that owns the firm.

The easiest way to understand this question is from the example below.

The example we can see from the company of Jaya Jusco Stores Sdn. Bhd. The company is come from Japan and they practise the culture of Japan even in Malaysia. For instance, every morning the staff will gather with the top management for daily briefing before they start their work. Usually as a symbol of respect to the top management and company they will make a bow same as the culture that practise in Japan. Other than that, every morning they will start their work along with the fast-beat Japan song as to increase the work spirit among the workers. That's why we think the Malaysians get influenced to work in the foreign firms because of their unique culture practised. The culture and approach practise are totally different from the local firm in Malaysia. The culture will affects the behavior of the workers to be more disciplined.

haha your group are the luckiest one..we think you guys have done a good job by giving example for the question. It give us more understanding about the question, it is better than the previous presentation..huhu but we are agree with the others that it is simple.maybe you can add more examples to make it more interesting for others to read.

ahakkk...the best entry we think...foreigner actually are not demanding compared local workers in term of salary and participation..so that,the culture of take foreigner as a worker is more seriously by employers...but,,,as a employer, try to think properly bcoz of this matter...what can happen to local teenagers if employers love to hire foreigner as a employee...
