We are responsible to answer this question.."Do you consider gays and lesbians part of diversity in workforce? How you response to this?"

Actually, we pointed out two major points towards this issue :

Firstly, we consider gays and lesbians part of diversity in workforce because for us, we can't discriminate these kind of people if they have highly skills and experiences. That is their personal matters. As long as they good in doing the task and not interrupt others on their workplace, we must accept them.

Secondly, for those who are not accept them as the workforce diversity, we think they simply narrow their mind without widely open on other aspects. Maybe they have their own reason why they choose to become a gay or lesbian in their life. Who knows?? Although in Islam, we as the Muslim should advise them to the right path. If a person has done their responsibility, then it depends on that particular person whether to change or not.

So to make it in brief, we should consider gays and lesbians part of the workforce diversity as it is their personal matters.

how about the other people who more concern in the islamic aspect? are they accept the situation?

Quite ok, but we don't think that you have answered it well.

Because, just imagine that you are the employer, and how you gonna manage all of your staff if part of them are lesbians and gays, may be some of your workers can accept it, but may be some of them can't. it's ok if u can accept it. but how you gonna manage the organization environment, when there has a task that these kind of people need to join with 'normal' staff. Basically, as a human there must be a certain perception, whether is bad or good. May be they can't cooperate and work together, and if this things happens it could tarnish the performance of your organization, so basically how..??how..??you gonna face it..

I do think the keyword here is professionalism and open minded. As the world eliminates many of its boundaries, people starting to accomodate to the new development i.e. gay and lesbian, even though majority of people may offend by this orientation ...

For tarnishing the image of the organization if you have such employees ... hmmm ... it kind hard to answer ... as people sometimes couldn't be bothered by this thing.

I used to work and mingle with those I know having this kind of sexual orientation, and never feel intimidated. When I'm working with the gays, I feel more secure as I know their sexual preference minimizing the risk of 'sexual assault' as compared when I'm working with normal man ... plus, they look and smell good too... ehemmm :p

I'm waiting the group response for this ...

i think whether u done really read or you don't understand b'coz we already wrote the statement about the islamic aspect.."Although in Islam, we as the Muslim should advise them to the right path. About the comment,never mind it's OK. But u have to respect others.
Maybe for you, it easy to say sorry.

Even though u just scared of "penalties and losing marks" maybe, but as long as u realized, we can accept it. It's OK,every person makes mistake right??

Anyway, we still find the key words of the question.

erm.. ya that some point, but we dont care about some of the people who being lesbian or gay. it is something that personal.

so, if we be a manager, whether the person have the absolute abilities and skills rather than other people with low performance.

We will chose the people with the best performance because it will give high performance and achievement of the organization.....

it also depend on the colleagues of the workforce. like miss fisha mentioned before, he feel secure, some people will think oppose.... ha....

wow!!so complicated...

alright,we until now are still with our first answer..if we are not 'secure' all these people, who will?
most at all, the comment that are we received more tend to discriminate those people..is that fair?
we back up them not because we agree with their behavior, but...if we are the manager, can we guest whether they are gay or lesbian with our first impression?
so, as long as they do not practice their 'real life'in organization, we must accept them and just assume them like the other normal person..
and miss fisya...your 'he' attitude make us feel comfortable and sometimes fear at u ..hehe..

wow...interesting topic...gay???..lesbian???...we think involving of gay and lesbian group is not are really serious matter...the key point is responsibilities...but,maybe these group got many negative perception from others...n maybe give bad image to company..

thats our opinion....njoy it...
